If you are looking for how to save money on a Disney vacation, you have come to the right place. We are massive Disney fans, and we love finding ways to make our trips more affordable so that we can enjoy them more often. One of the ways that you can offset the costs of a Disney trip is with Disney Visa Credit Cards. For serious travel hackers, Disney cards are rarely talked about because the rewards you earn can only be used at Disney. However, for those of us who are frequently taking Disney trips or saving for one big trip, it is worth talking about how you can use the Disney cards to save money.

Disney currently has three credit cards available

Disney Inspire Visa Card

Disney Premier Visa Card

Disney Visa Card

It is important to know what each card offers so that you have all the information that you need to know before you consider applying. There are a few benefits that every Disney card offers, so we will start by going over those details, and then we will break down each card in more detail.

Benefits of all Disney Visa Credit Cards

Limited-Time Offers – cardholders will receive special offers throughout the year that can range from extra discounts at DisneyStore.com to extra discounts on hotel rooms. At one point earlier this year, Disney Visa Cardholders could receive a $250 on board credit when booking a Disney Cruise using the card.

10% off purchases of $50 or more at DisneyStore.com, Disney Cruise Line stores, and select stores at U.S. Disney Parks and Resorts. 15% off select guided tours. 10% off select recreation experiences.

10% off select dining locations most days at U.S. Disney Parks and Resorts.

Exclusive Photo Opportunities at private Cardmember locations at Disney California Adventure Park, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

0% promo APR for 6 months on select Disney vacation packages.

When cardholders reach $10 in Disney Rewards you are able to request a Disney Rewards Card. This is a physical card that works like a gift card. Your reward dollars are loaded onto the card, and you are able to use that as payment for DisneyStore.com, Disney Cruise Line, and at Disney Parks and Resorts.

Now that we have shared what benefits are available to all cardholders lets get more specific about what each card offers.

Disney Visa Credit Card

This is the lowest-tier card. It has no annual fee but still entitles you to discounts and earning Disney Reward dollars.

Sign Up Bonus – Earn up to $150. Get a $100 Disney eGift card upon approval and earn a $50 statement credit after you spend $500 on purchases in your first three months of opening the account.

This card earns 1% on all purchases. If you start out with a higher-tier card with an annual fee and later decide you don’t want to continue having an annual fee, you can downgrade to this card. That would be my recommendation, as the sign-up offers are normally much better with the other cards.

Disney Premier Visa Credit Card

The sign-up bonus on this card tends to rotate between $300 to $400 dollars. It has a $49 annual fee but offers better percentages for earning Disney rewards.

Sign Up Bonus – earn up to $300. Get a $200 Disney eGift card immediately upon approval and earn a $100 statement credit after you spend $500 on purchases in the first three months from opening the account. When I applied for this card in the fall of 2025, the sign-up offer was a $400 statement credit, but you had to spend $1000 to get it.

This card earns 5% on purchases made directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com, or Plus.ESPN.com. It earns 2% on purchases at most U.S. Disney locations and gas stations. 2% on grocery store and restaurant purchases and 1% on all other card purchases.

Disney Inspire Visa Credit Card

We got extremely excited when the Disney Inspire card was announced earlier this year. This card currently has an elevated offer that will be ending on 5/4, so if you have been thinking of getting this card, now is the time to apply!

Sign Up Bonus – Earn up to $600. Get a $300 Disney eGift card immediately upon approval and earn a $300 statement credit after you spend $1,000 in purchases in the first three months from opening the account. On May 4th, this offer will change to a $500 statement credit when you spend $1,000 in purchases within the first three months.

Where this card really shines is the extra rewards it offers users. This is the only card to offer a $10 monthly streaming credit after spending $10 or more on subscriptions directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com, or Plus.ESPN.com. You do have to activate this credit on your account yearly. Our current plan costs us $4.99 after the streaming credit. This card also offers 10% on purchases made directly at DisneyPlus.com, Hulu.com, or Plus.ESPN.com.

$100 Disney Theme Park Tickets Credit when you spend $200 per anniversary year on tickets. This card will apply to annual pass purchases, special event tickets, and regular park tickets. Some cardholders have even shared that Lightning Lane purchases have triggered this credit. The $100 credit will show up as a statement credit.

$200 in Disney Reward Dollars after spending $2,000 per anniversary year on U.S. Disney Resorts and Disney Cruise Line bookings. This includes purchases charged to your Disney room. So, if you stay at a Disney Resort and put this card on file and charge every purchase that you can to your room, that is an easy way to work on reaching the $2,000 spend.

The card also earns 3% at most U.S. Disney locations and gas stations. 2% at grocery stores and restaurants, and 1% on all other card purchases.

Currently, we have one Inspire card and one Premier Card. We got the Premier card 5 months before the Inspire card was announced. We plan to either downgrade the Premier card to the no annual fee card when our one year comes up, or see if we are eligible to upgrade that card to the Inspire card.

These cards are not going to be the right choice for everyone, but they are wonderful options for anyone looking to save money on their Disney trips.
