If you are looking for a place to eat in Los Angeles that is beloved by the locals check out Aroma Coffee and Tea. Located in the quiet neighborhood of Studio City is this charming eatery. The line is almost always out the door but it is always worth the wait. This is my go-to spot to bring out-of-town guests.

On a recent visit, one customer said to another that Aroma is where you go when you want restaurant-quality food without a restaurant experience. You order at the counter and your food is brought to you. There is never a rush for you to need to leave. Whether you want to dine inside or out there are a lot of places to pick from. This spot is perfect when you want a place to work or a place to catch up with friends.

When I brought my parents to Aroma we spotted Oscar winner J.K. Simmons ordering at the counter. You never know who you will spot at this place.food at aroma

I have yet to have something at Aroma that I did not like. My two favorite entrees to order are the BLTA with garlic herb fries and the quesadilla with fruit. Meals range in price but $10-$17 is the average for the entree.

I typically only have water when I’m here but every now and then I’ll get a hot chocolate which is always divine.

Where Aroma really shines is with the dessert. Pictured above is the Reese’s chocolate cheesecake. The crust is perfectly crunchy but not hard. The cheesecake is a creamy delight. By far though the best cheesecake that I have had of theirs is the raspberry one.

The gluten-free chocolate chip cookie is always a great choice.

The absolute best of the cakes is the birthday cake. As you can see the portions are very big. It normally takes me three days to finish this masterpiece. This cake is around $7. It is the most wonderful cake I have ever had!

I cannot recommend Aroma enough. All of my LA friends know how obsessed I am with this spot. The only downside to Aroma is that street parking is the only option. Be sure to check the signs as I have gotten a parking ticket in this area.

The address for Aroma is 4360 Tujunga Ave Studio City, CA 91604.

Another restaurant close to Aroma Coffee and Tea that I really enjoy is the Federal Bar in North Hollywood.
