Have you ever dreamed of being a contestant on a game show? Have you ever wished that the person winning a car or money was you? I’m going to share with you some tips with you on how to be picked to play Lets Make A Deal.

The first thing you need to do is get tickets for a taping of the show. Free tickets for Lets Make A Deal are available here. Sometimes they will tape up to four episodes in one day. Going to the first show is a good choice because they give the option to stay for the other tapings. If you don’t get picked for the first show staying around gives you more chances. Since you’re already there might as well increase your chances of getting picked.

Before the episode begins taping you will park and go through an interview. The interview is the chance to really sell yourself. When I went to a taping a producer told us that they really look for people who are loving life. Don’t be afraid to be excited and bubbly! Keep the energy alive once you get inside the studio. If you had great energy in the interview but don’t look like you’re having fun during the taping they won’t pick you. Once you are seated in the audience section get up out of your seat and dance. During the taping when they take commercial breaks go ahead and keep dancing.

If you watch the show you know about the quickie deals they do at the end of the show. This is when they ask audience members if they have certain items with them. Make sure to follow the show on Twitter so that you can have the advantage of knowing what they will ask for. At the taping, I went to people who made $500 for having the right item with them.

I had not seen the show before I went to the taping. I know that probably sounds really odd but I just wanted to check it out. When I first got to the check-in location I was shocked by all the costumes. I even asked someone if they were taping a Halloween-themed episode. It was a surprise for me to learn that the costumes are a big part of every episode.

There is no need to spend a lot of money on a costume. Just as long as you were in some type of costume you will be alright. A lot of people think that the costume is part of what helps you get picked on the show. Yes, a great costume could help you get picked but all of the costumes I was impressed by never got picked.

The studio gets a little cool so you might want to bring a jacket with you. TV show tapings can make for a long day. Make sure to bring water and some snacks along with you. There is a small coffee station outside of the studio but there isn’t really time to stop there.

I hope this has helped you figure out how to be a contestant on Lets Make A Deal.
