The Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel is a hot spot for celebrities and a fantastic place to go for a meal. I have always wanted to stay at this famous hotel but for now, I will settle for eating at the Polo Lounge. My Mom and I had lunch here during her last visit. We had such a lovely time! Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling ate here just a few days after we did. If only they could have been there at the same time as us.

We were able to find free street parking close to the hotel which meant that we did not have to worry about paying for valet parking. However, that also meant that we had to limit our time at the hotel so we could be back in the car within two hours. Be sure to take that into consideration when you decide where to park.

My Mom and I did a small amount of exploring the hotel but again due to the time we didn’t get to see everything that we wanted. Oh well, I suppose we will just have to return here again.

We were able to get into the Polo Lounge without a reservation. However, it helped that we arrived at 11 am. By the time we left the restaurant was packed. Do yourself a favor and guarantee your spot at the lounge with a reservation. We had the option of sitting inside or outside and we opted for outside. Next time I would love to ask for a booth though as they look so cute!

polo lounge menu

The Polo Lounge for us was a very special occasion. It is not the type of restaurant I would be able to dine at on a regular basis. The average price for an entree is $40-$60. Please note if you order a coke it will be delivered in a bottle. It is $6 per bottle.

McCarthy Salad polo loungeThe oldest item on the menu and the most popular dish to order is the McCarthy salad. It is similar to a cobb salad. My Mom ordered this for her meal. The salad was brought to the table as shown above. Our server then offered to toss the salad for her.

I ordered the Polo burger which was by far one of the best burgers that I have ever had. It was so fresh and tasty! I would highly recommend the burger.

My favorite part of the meal though was the dessert. We ordered Hollywood Romance which was a decadent and delicious chocolate cake.

The to-go box is an adorable pink box with smaller pink boxes on the inside with different foods. This restaurant is truly an elegant experience. If you are looking for a nice place to have a special experience in Los Angeles the Polo Lounge is my recommendation.
