Interested in getting free Conan O’Brien Show tickets? The show tapes Monday-Thursday. Like most tv show tapings they give away more tickets than the number of seats they have to try and ensure a full house. Be sure to arrive early! You will do a good amount of walking so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Soundstages are known for being cold so consider bringing a jacket with you.

Where Does Conan Tape

Conan tapes at the Warner Bros Studio in Burbank, California. Free parking is provided for the tapings at Gate 8. The second floor of Gate 8 is also the check-in location for the show. You will find benches, vending machines, and restrooms at Gate 8. There is even a photo spot in the check-in location for you to have some fun with. Keep an eye out for the Conan mobile. Most of the time it is located on the lot but every now and then you’ll see it at Gate 8.

How Long Does The Taping Last

The taping itself lasts for half an hour. Sometimes it can be a bit longer if they need to tape additional guests or musical acts. With check-in and walking time, I would expect to be at the studios for around 2 hours. If time permits on the walk back you will be given the chance to go inside the Stage 48 giftshop where they have some Conan merchandise as well as stuff from other popular Warner Bros properties. Please note that this is not guaranteed and is done only if time permits.

I used to work as a tour guide at Warner Bros. Most of the time if we got access to a stage it was because it was empty. Well, one day Conan opened up the stage even though he and his writers were there. They surprised my guests and me. We even made it on his Instagram. If you can arrive early enough I recommend taking the Warner Bros Studio Tour before attending the taping. It is really a fun way to get to see the studio!

If you find yourself in Hollywood you might want to stop by Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum. I found Conan there we got this great picture.
